Healthcare-associated infection in long term care facilities
National Prevalence Surveys on Healthcare Associated Infections and Antibiotic use in Irish Long-Term Care Facilities
In 2010 and 2011, Irish long-term care facilities participated in a national prevalence survey of healthcare-associated infections and antibiotic use in long-term care (HALT). The HALT survey will be repeated across Ireland and Europe in May 2013. All long-term care facilities in Ireland are invited to participate in HALT 2013.
